Lamborghini Urus to get twin turbo V8
Lamborghini’s R&D Directror, Maurizio Reggiani, says the Lamborghini Urus will use a twin turbo V8 and weigh only 2,000kg. The Lamborghini Urus – Lambo’s new SUV offering – took the stage at the Geneva Motor Show in March and, although it received mixed reviews, is certainly heading for production. But the SUV we saw at Geneva is a long way of the real deal; nothing more than a shell to give the world a peek of how the Urus will look.

Hyundai i20 - Euro styled Getz replacement
The Supermini segment is a very competitive one, and Hyundai has sold relatively well to date, based mainly on price. But how will it fair with the i20, which is much more Euro mainstream? Well, price-wise it remains very competitive, with prices kicking off at a very modest £8k.
Nissan North America may postpone a V6 diesel engine planned for the Maxima sedan in 2010. Since the company revealed its Maxima diesel plan two years ago, gasoline prices have fallen dramatically, auto sales have collapsed and Nissan has begun reviewing product plans as it scrambles to restore profitability. "We haven't reached a decision on the diesel yet, but we have to consider where we want to put our capital investments," says Larry Dominique, North American vice president for product planning.
